With the big freeze causing the cancellation of the Banbury 20 mile race, Mike, Andrew and Nigel headed for Stourport on Severn. The sun made for a brilliant paddle upstream. We passed through Bewdley and almost reached Eymore Rapids and Arley, before a swift paddle back with the current. Even so ice was forming on the spraydecks.
