Club members took part in an April canal clear up. Working from the Basin up to Bridge 3 we collected 25 bags of rubbish, one TV and a road barrier from the canal and the banks. We then continued up to Swan Lane Wharf and met the Canal Society who had been working south from Hawkesbury. A skip was stored there to pick up the rubbish. Well done a good team effort. Yet again it was incredibly windy and paddlers struggled in to the headwind on the way back.
